HISTORY OF CHAAP

CHAAP one of the Regional Units under CHAI include Andhra Pradesh and Telangana was established in 1988. Spread out in 59 Districts in Both States has 357 MI’s. CHAAP works for empowerment of the people to take responsibility of their own health. CHAAP promotes Community Health in urban and rural areas, especially among the marginalised and socially excluded SC, ST and other backward communities.
