CHAAP is a non-profit voluntary society, which has been registered under the Societies Registration Act XX1 of 1860.

With its society’s registration number, it is also eligible to receive foreign funds being registered under the act holding 169 of 1988 on 30th July, 1988. The organization has also been issued with the 010190160 as its FCRA number and also issued with 12A & 80G.

Major Events and Achievements of the year 2024-2025:

  • 45,651 people were reached with health messages on maternal and child health, sanitation, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and social issues during the reporting period. Community Health Coordinators (CHCs) conduct health awareness programs with the support of Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) once a month using flipbooks and participate in monthly Village Health and Nutrition Committee (VHNC) meetings.
  • 994 pregnant women were followed up by CHVs, and most underwent institutional deliveries. They received care from conception through delivery in hospitals, with immunization schedules followed up after childbirth.
  • 1,822 people benefited from immunization sessions supported by CHVs in their operational areas. Government-scheduled immunization programs for children's vaccinations were regularly followed up with the help of ASHA workers and CHVs.
  • 8,714 people were referred for various diagnostic tests (HIV, TB, Malaria, Filariasis, Diabetes, and Hypertension), and of these, 1,647 were found positive and referred for further treatment. Regular awareness is provided during home visits, sensitizing communities on clean surroundings and healthy living.
  • In total, 21,735 female, 17,784 male, and 6,132 children were covered through the Community Health Program.
  • Twenty seven Member Institutions across AP & TG have registered in Tele-Health to improve the health conditions of un-reached populations and areas with limited access to doctors. Sister Nurses and social workers facilitate free online consultations with doctors, enabling patients to receive valid prescriptions online.
    A total of 3,026 Tele- consultations were done during 2024-2025.
